I do my Christmas shopping early. I have shopped at KMart for YEARS!
I decided that I wanted to take one of the gifts I bought for someone back WELL before Christmas, since I didn't think it would fit. I had my original receipt and tags on the item. The item was purchased on the 30th of October. I was not offered gift receipts for any of the items I bought that day.
I was not aware that KMART only has a 30 DAY RETURN POLICY . . . I can't believe that this big chain only allows 30 days, especially during the holiday season.
They refused to take back, refund, or give me store credit on December 10th . . . BEFORE the holiday.
So I got penalized for SHOPPING EARLY!!! I want others to be aware that this is absurd!!! I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE KMART or SEARS again . .
. it's no wonder they are closing stores . . .
They need to check out their competitors" return policies . . . Target, Macy's Kohl's, WalMart, etc .
. Thorougly disgusted and I have four more gits that I hope fit the people for whom I bought them.
