Page 1 of 2 I went to put an Xbox 360 on layaway for my son for Christmas, Kmart REFUSED to put it on layaway. The stated they don't offer layaway on ANY electronics items. Find somewhere else to shop, Kmart LIES! Kmart advertises commercials that they offer layaway, then they won't honor there layaway system to their customers. I told them that not honoring their advertisement is a bad policy and it discourages customers from shopping at their stores. The manager said that it is their policy to not allow layaway on certain items. I told him I will make it MY policy to never shop at Kmart. No wonder Kmart is such a FAILING company.

Even so mafiagodfather, she does not need to throw a tantrum because she did not get her way. Also she needs to stop assuming that they are lying just because they don't offer certain items on layaway. In other words she need so know that the world does not revolve around her and her children. (assuming she is an adult at all) I still think this is some twelve year old posing as an adult. An adult would get the concept that they are not lying, that they do offer layaway and just because not all items can be put on layaway does not mean they don't have layaway at all. She does not have the skills to put that together and If she is an adult I have great concerns for the son being raised by someone with the IQ of a 10-12 year old.

The word is STRICT. Not "strick". Idiot.

Jason - Sometimes parents put things on layaway before Christmas so they don't have to hide the present from their children and so that they can be reassured that the gifts they want for their children are there for them. It has nothing to do with cost. However I agree with "C", certain items cannot be put on layaway. The website does not say anything about game councels. However close to Christmas they have to be more strick.

Like I said maybe you need to grow up and stop being such a child. If you can't take the heat don't post. Also are you sure that you are not a child. Because the phrase "Maybe you *** need shot." Is not a complete sentence. Are you a first grader writing this because your sentences and attitude are of that age level. Kids that age generally age think that the world revolves around them.

Perhaps you should get a good paying job so you don't have to put things on layaway.
