I was shopping with my 3 kids last week at the riverside ca store off Alessandro blvd. It was "super doubles " week, we had 3 transactions planned. The rules state, 5 coupons doubled per PERSON. I was approached by the manager on duty after 1 completed my first transaction that I am no longer welcome because I was committing fraud. She told me that because my teenager and son shop there I am committing fraud because 1) I am saving money 2) I have multiple accounts ( I called shop your way rewards to check my account and I only have 1) besides, how would she know I have multiple accounts?

My younger daughter was playing games on my cell and caught this entire confrontation on my phone. It was embarrassing being told I am committing fraud in front of a line of people.

To make matters worse, I was overcharged $8! I told loss prevention that before I leave they need to fix that. They have signs all over the product that say it's in sale but it rings up full price . He said you committed fraud so we do not have to honor the price. You need to drive to our other store 20 miles away and return it or get a price adjustment. By this time, loss prevention, private security and a lot of people were gathered around myself and 3 kids. The loss prevention demanded the video of the manager accusing me of fraud be deleted. She told me the police are being called. I told her corporate needs to know how they treat customers! I'm not deleting it! The big woman loss prevention got a bit aggressive with her body language, I got a bit scared because she was big and trying to intimidate me. I was not sure if she was trying to go for my phone because she stepped towards me. I got really scared and nervous that she was going to get physical with me. After she did the refund for the overpriced items, myself and my 3 kids were escorted out.

I called customer service they apologized and said somebody will be calling me back within 2 days and no call. Kmart does have some great stores. This location is not one of them!

I think that instead of Jaclyn Smith being the spokeswoman for KMart that a more appropriate representative would be Roseanne Barr.

Kmart.....I should have known and you wonder why they are all closing down.I do not drive and sometimes my children and I go to the store they are all adults now who all live on their own.So MR. SAMS CLUB would you deny us the discount?How do you know that they live in the same house?Have you been over there?Those employes should be fired.You should contact sears coperate since they own Kmart and tell them about their unprofessional staff.Belive me when I tell you somthing will be done.

Clearly you don't work into retail and you don't understand how rules and policies work with the employees and the managers of the store. If you did work into retail, you wouldn't be acting like this!

At any store, these poor employees and managers know what kind of customers they have too deal with.

There always two sides too the story. This is proof, no the customers are always not right.

The only people that should be fired are these entitled customers for causing an scene. Clearly someone needs too teach you and educate you that. There are laws, rules and policies that people need too follow before they are able too play the entitlement card.

Agreed. Working into retail suck.

These customers that act like this suck! This is why we hate our jobs. We have all been there.

We have all seen this! And its so sad and bad too see them mistreating employees and managers for them doing their jobs!

The girl that told you-- you are not welcome in the store is actually RIGHT. Double couponing IS kind of like fraud!

I am an assistant manager at a Sams Club store in Council Bluffs, IA. We have customers like this ALL THE TIME. It is a constant problem. We have kicked more than a handful of customers out of our store because of this deceptive practice.

You should get a life and quit filming these hard workers, who work for a low wage by the way, and stop using deceptive practices to try and save a few bucks.

Only dishonest shoppers double coupon and people like YOU should GET A LIFE! You probably have so many kids, you resorted to using dishonest practices because you do not have enough money, huh?

Well then stop having so many kids, maybe you can save a little more money and do it honestly.

Agreed. While i was working into an retail company.

We would always have those entitled customers like this that would do this. No employee or manager should go through this!

Agreed. Customers need too know the laws, the rules and the polices before they play the entitlement card.
