Buyers Beware of Kmart Fake Warranty

KMart complaint by Carol Castellanos

Bought a set of luggages from Kmart back in 03/04.

The luggages all have tags stating that "if luggage is defective within 10 years of purchase that Kmart will replace it free of charge." I went to Kmart and manager refuse to honor it so I called customer service and they were just as useless. The only thing wrong with one of the luggage was the buckle snapped off.One thing I know for sure is that I will not shop at Kmart any more and will make sure to let other know how Kmarts warranty works or better yet how it doesn't.

how can a company so large get away with selling worthless warranties. i purchased a warranty on my airbed 4 months ago. needless to say i am receiving the run around - no one handles that - well we were told up to one year, my son would be able to exchange the bed 'at' KMART with out problems.... they LIED.......
